If one is creating an aviation 'disaster', one must control every facet of the incident, including the design, construction and assembly of the aircraft. One must know which mechanism will fail most easily with the least amount of evidence, which communications will drop, what tolerance cannot be exceeded, etc.
The exceptions prove the rule. The Airbus 'accidents' include a pilot who'd had enough. He killed himself by diving the commercial passenger jet into the ground. Not exactly a lot of variability in that scenario.

The idea that the American central government could 'lose' an Airbus, i.e. Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, indicates that if they wish, the Singaporeans, with the assistance of the Malaysians or others, could hide whatever they wish from America. Just another example of your tax dollars maximising obfuscation.
I was having a chat with an American who was well traveled in South Asia. Nonetheless, he complained about "the Chinese taking over Singapore". I bit my tongue. The Chinese made Singapore! How do a people take over something that they made and always held?
Federal technology can target and kill a person anywhere on the planet. We, america, regularly, purposely, kill children, non-combatants and others. This is your country. You aren't ashamed?
